The Mayor of Fort Erie and the Community Health Care Services Committee is working to put forth a health care model to the province for access to service 24/7 in traditional and innovative ways for the Town of Fort Erie, Stevensville, Crystal Beach and Ridgeway. Niagara Health's stubborn refusal to sway from outdated 1996 Health Services Restructuring Commission plan is short sighted and closed minded. Mayor Redekop would like to persuade the provincial government to fund the initiative as a pilot project. We need to give Mayor Redekop our support.
